Not another
"subscription agency"

Unlike other freelance designers, I won’t treat your project as just one of many.

I become a true partner and give my undivided attention to what we’ll be working on.

Unlike most design agencies, I won’t charge you 5 figures for slow work that will be outsourced to underpaid designers.

I do all the work myself, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
And if I bring a friend to help us, I'll let you know about it.

Unlike design subscription agencies, I don’t complete the tasks every 2 or 3 days, and I don't present a retainer as "unlimited requests".

I work daily to deliver high-quality interfaces exceptionally fast. You won't have to wait 3 days to see a small request materialised.

After we work together on a project, we can chat about ongoing design work. Or we can say our goodbyes. Or stay in touch.

How does that sound?

About me

Hello, I'm Michael.

I'm dedicated to helping ambitious founders launch impactful products through beautiful and usable design.

Ever since my design career began in 2019, I helped over 30 companies launch, grow, and get funded. The products which I've designed reached millions of people and earned millions of dollars for my clients.

Apart from working with companies, I also share design content on social media. My profiles have are currently followed by over 130,000 people in total. I focus on sharing tips, advice, and thought-provoking essays on design that challenge the status-quo.

I also wrote 4 eBooks on design & freelancing. Over 40,000+ Designers got a copy and changed their career thanks to them.

Today, I'm driven to work with high-performance teams to help them through my design skills.

I believe that small details matter. Even if you or your customers won't notice them consciously, they add up. Attention to detail is my core virtue.

Frequently Asked Questions

I didn't come up with these questions myself. People actually asked me these.

How much do you charge?

Most of the projects I worked on were priced around $7,000-$10,000. Here's the thing though. This year I worked with on a SaaS project, and I charged $25,000. A week later, I did a super small social media post project for $100. It all depends on your needs. It's best if we jump on a call to chat, and I'll be able to give you an estimate on our very first call. But here's an example of my prices: $7,000-$10,000 would get you a mobile app or web app design, paired with landing page design+development. A website design+dev would cost you between $3,000 to $5,000, depending on the complexity. Depending on the scale and complexity, price might differ. So let's chat.

Why would I work with you instead of a design subscription agency?

I know that the subscription agencies are all the hype right now. But they don't come without shortcomings. Firstly, the requests aren't "unlimited". Yes, you can add as many requests as you like, but they promise to complete them every 2-3 workdays. If we take 22 workdays in a month, that leaves you with anywhere from 7 to 11 requests a month. More complex ones can take up to a week, so realistically you're likely getting up to 10 design tasks completed every month. There's also an issue with defining what a request even is. Changing font size can be a request. Is designing a mobile app a request, or do they break it down into 10 or 15 separate requests? But there's an even bigger issue. At their core, these agencies expect you to know exactly what you want. I believe it's the Designer's job to help figure out what's best instead of putting that responsibility on the client. In short, there are many subscription agencies. But I believe that there's a huge power in adding a dedicated Design Partner (such as myself) to your team.

How fast will I receive my designs?

If it turns out that we're a fit, I'll start the work right after our very first call. Then, I'll typically have something presentable in place the very next day. Average mobile/web app can take 1-3 weeks to get finalised. A landing page will take 1-2 days.

What's your design process?

After setting goals on the call, I'll get to work right away. All I can really say is that there's a lot of magic going on there. I'll look for inspiration, combine ideas, and create solutions that solve the problem. As I design, you can be involved however much you want to. I prefer the "done with you" approach rather than "done for you".

What do I need to give you to get started?

We can start from complete scratch. All I need from you is the vision of what you want to create. If you already have some designs in place, we can use them as the starting point, or scrap them and start from scratch.

Do you charge for additional revisions?

No. When we start working together, you can be assured that your money will give you exactly the designs you were looking for. There will be no surprise charges for additional revisions.

Do you issue refunds?

I don't. And I know it sucks from your perspective, because working with me equals risk. If you're not sure if I'm the right person for the job, we can start small. For example, instead of kicking off a $8,000 app design project, I will charge you $1,000 for 2 screens from the app. This way, you can see if I grasp your vision. And then you can decide if we should continue or not.

What happens after the design is ready & I approve it?

It depends. If it turns out you'll have an ongoing need for more design work, we can chat about extending our collaboration with a retainer. If not, we can say our goodbyes. But I still prefer to keep in touch. That way I can ensure that the designs are implemented properly. Also, if it turns out you have any edit requests, I'll be there to help, even after the project is officially done.
